Boardroom Framed Canvas Portraits 

Honor someone special with a timeless portrait.  We’ll take care of everything, from the portrait session to the finished canvas portrait glazed and framed.   50 years of Busath portraits grace the walls of Symphony Hall, Utah Capital Building, University of Utah, LDS Conference Center, and boardrooms across the U.S.

How to Prepare for a Headshot

Choose neutral colors and darker tones for at least one outfit.  Less is usually more!  

Solid fabrics and longer sleeves always work best.  Layer textures and accessories to your heart’s content and for your second or third outfit, feel free to try some bright colors and patterns.  

Keep makeup and hair natural.  Don’t try a new hairstyle or extra makeup just before your portrait.  The best business portraits are honest and un-affected.  Men, a fresh shave helps a lot!  Women, arrive well rested and DON’T WORRY… we’ll take care of everything!

The Process

1. Call to schedule

• Our experienced team will help you choose a session that meets your needs, at a time that works with your schedule.
• Our conveniently located downtown studio is open Tuesday – Friday 10 AM to 6 PM

2. Arrive at the Studio Early

• Allow us some time to discuss your project; how the portraits will be used, what you like and dislike about previous portraits and help with clothing choices if you’ve brought options
• DON’T HESITATE TO TELL US what you don’t like about your face and hair.  It helps us to find your best angles and your best expressions.  Feel free to bring in old photos if you can, good and bad. 
• We start the session with a test shoot and look at some images together, so you can give your input  You know your face best and we want your opinion!
• After you’ve seen a few images, turn us loose to try different angles and lighting patterns on you.  It’s our goal in every session to create the best pictures you’ve ever had!

3. Select Your Favorites

• We’ll send you home with a private link to view your images online.
• Review your images from home and phone us with your order.  If you’d like, schedule a time to stop in and let our portrait consultant help you to select the images that best suit your needs.
• Once you’ve made your selections, allow our artists polish up the images.  Final images can be delivered via email for speed (or on a USB drive by request).
